We are all in it together, the human race. Humans have a great deal of unity and commonality that is often not noticed by other species because they do not see the world from our point of view. Humanity sees itself as a singular entity, while to others we are an ever-changing organism with many subgroups and cultures.

From a bird's eye point of view, we are all part of a collective organism that is humanity. Each neuron in your brain is an individual cell with its own DNA and message to send through its synaptic connections to other cells. But all these neurons work together for a common purpose - they collect data from our environment and send it back where it can be analyzed.

We are self-aware and sentient, which allows us to understand our place in the universe. We appreciate beauty not just for its own sake but because it is part of a greater whole that we belong to.

We are a collective organism with many subgroups, each performing different functions towards the same end - to create meaning. Humans have created religions, ideologies and even economic systems that make sense of the world around them.

Humans have created systems to provide for common needs, such as food and shelter. We can think of this as a type of economic system. This can be seen in the way that different groups work together to create goods like clothing or technology.

Humans are the epitome of what it is to be a living organism. Each individual has their own function within the greater whole, yet they all work together for one purpose - survival and prosperity.
