PR and Credibility

When I look at the world, and I see a corporation. Even if it is not a multinational one or some famous company. There are two things they do that makes them corporations in my eyes.

It's an on-going process. The actions of the past have no bearing.

Once you are in the public eye, people will judge you by that. So if they know nothing of your past, then you must do something to get into their eyes.

This is why corporations are doing more than just making money. They also have to engage in public relations, or they will be left behind.

So it's a matter of maintaining credibility, by meeting some standard. And this is why you have to keep your public informed.
