The vast majority of advertising is designed to convince people that they are unhappy with themselves, and need some product or service to alleviate this dissatisfaction.

Of course, this is not true at all. We are each born with a tremendous capacity to be happy, and advertising does nothing but make us feel guilty for having such happiness.

One might wonder why the creators of advertising would want to make us feel bad about ourselves. The answer is because that is how they can sell products: by making you feel unhappy, and then convincing you that their product will make you happy.

So, in addition to feeling bad about yourself because you are not perfect and beautiful like the celebrities in advertisements, you also have to pay money for some expensive product that will make you feel better about yourself.

And then, you will feel bad about yourself that you don't have enough money to buy something else. It is a never ending cycle of feeling bad about ourselves.

One might wonder if there is a way to break this cycle of negativity and lack. The answer is yes, but it requires people to think for themselves.
