The work that wasn't
For every project that was shelved, for every piece of copy written, for every creative made.. that didn't make it to the final cut.
For sometimes- the best work lies hidden away while boring pays the bills.
No Creative Director to make your idea come to life?
A client who just didn't get it?
A story you want to share?
A spec ad that you love?
An Idea you want to bring to life but need help?
A piece of copy you love but had to give up?
Anybody who creates, on the client-side or the agency side- we've come at crossroads with the client or an internal stakeholder that has resulted in an original idea being scrapped or completely changed.
But your conviction to that piece still remains.
Your belief in knowing that your piece would've worked better still remains.
Or you feel the new one eventually worked better but you want a platform to showcase the story that went to the original.
I want this platform to serve as a memoir or an ode to that very original piece.
I also want the platform to help upcoming art/copy and marketing by means of lessons imparted from each post.
Why did something get rejected? What was the piece that finally got approved? And why the change?

The thought is to make this - well eventually a full-fledged website - a platform for the marketing and advertising community to share those pieces, that were shot down, those pieces that were rejected, and those pieces that just didn't make the cut.
Eventually, this would also serve as a place where artists, copywriters, and suits get to meet each other, see each other work, give feedback -
and who knows maybe we'll have our own version of The Cannes, called -- The Cannots .
